Assistive AI technology enhances the quality of life of people with disabilities by providing innovative solutions to create an inclusive environment. In recent days, Gaze-controlled AI technologies that utilize eyeball movements have benefited the disabled community with better diagnosis, with the ability to communicate, and with new opportunities. Disabled people are able to access education and the internet through this technology. Thus this technology is bridging the gaps and provides a new avenue of exploration for the disabled community to become a complete part of society. - Gaze-controlled Communication:
Think of a scenario, where a disabled person without speech capabilities, gets an AI assistant to tell what going on in his/her mind. Such a tool is going to be a game-changer in their life. Doctors can easily understand the pain points of disabled patients through their own words of expression.
This tool can be built with Gaze controlled presets, which reads out the mind of the person. A gaze-controlled screen of commonly used words can be given to the person to express their mind.
2. Gaming Technology:
Gaze-controlled technology is widely used in gaming. There are platforms that provide games like ‘Fruit Ninja’ with gaze controls. It can be a great relaxation and recreation for the users.
